It’s Back to School time around here and cookies are in high demand. This year I made cookies for my Fab Four and also for Scarlett’s teachers and office staff. Let’s be honest. Miss Scarlett is starting Kindergarten at a new school and we want to put our best food forward so…let’s just call these cookies what they really are, brown nose cookies. Heck, a mom’s gotta do what a mom’s gotta do right?
Now onto the cookies. I knew I wanted to do something a little different than what I’ve done in the past. So I went with minis and a fun color scheme. I was inspired by a Instagram post by my friend Heather of KaleidaCuts. I love the playful use of color and I thought how fun to use a similar color scheme on her mini cookie cutters! You can achieve the same look by using a bright and light variation of any mix of colors.
I went live on the #CookieCam while working on the cookies. Watch here:
I wanted to present the cookies in a fun way so I headed to the Target Dollar Spot and found some cute back to school washi tape and bulletin board paper. See how I put it together here:
