Cookie Questions

Q: I would love to learn to decorate cookies. Do you need a lot of supplies to get started?

A: Not at all! This is what I love most about cookies! You can start off with the bare bones basics that you probably already have in your kitchen or you can go all out with all the fun supplies and gadgets. It’s totally up to you! All you really need is a hand mixer, rolling pin, parchment paper, gel food color, toothpicks, and a great recipe and you’re good to go!

Q: How far in advance can you bake & decorate cookies?

A: Great question! You can make them the day before your event or bake, decorate, and freeze months in advance. Isn’t that glorious?!

Q: How thick do you roll your cookie dough?

A: Cookie thickness is a total matter of preference. Some cookiers like their cookies on the thin and crispy side at 1/4 inch. I, on the other hand, like all things “extra” and roll mine to a beautiful 3/8 inch for a softer, chewy middle.

Q: How can I get your sugar cookie recipe?

A: I’m flattered you asked! You can find my Signature Sugar Cookie recipe in my ebook HERE. Before you ask, yes, it’s MUCH more than just my recipe. My ebook is filled with tips and tricks on how to make the perfect, no spread sugar cookie.
