It’s time for another Cookie Life Box Reveal! Our August 2021 subscription box theme was “Life’s a Beach”.

Here’s what was included in the “Life’s a Beach” box and why is was curated:
- Our cutters this month come from Sinful Cutters. Cari Sanders creates her cutters by 3-D printing out of Carlisle, Indiana. We included her snorkel cutter, flippers cutter, squirt gun cutter and fun coconut drink floral cutter! These 4 cutters work together for a beach theme, lake theme or pool party theme!
We also included a starfish and shell silicon mold from Borderland’s Bakery. Their silicone molds are perfect for candy, chocolate, modeling chocolate, fondant, and more! They are non stick for easy release (material specific, so for fondant please use corn starch), and are dishwasher safe. They are also food grade, BPA-free & non-toxic. - Our water pattern stencil this month is from The Cookie Countess. Get the effect of pool water on a sunny day, using only one stencil! Perfect for ocean waves and mermaid lagoons.
The Cookie Countess website teaches us how to use their water pattern stencil:- Flood your cookie with a medium blue color, we recommend Beachy Blue gel. Let fully dry. With a slightly darker blue airbrush, like Ultra Blue, airbrush the stencil pattern onto the cookie.
After that dries, rotate the stencil 180* and use Whipped White airbrush color to airbrush the stencil again. - Our personal item that April chose for this month is a cooling towel. These towels are perfect for outdoor activities, hot flashes, indoor exercise, hot baking days, etc. You simply soak it, wring it, snap it and wrap it, and re-wet to reactivate it. Retains water and maintains coolness while staying dry to the touch. It is machine washable and dries soft even after several washes.
